Welcome to my practice…

I’m Leah. I’m so glad to meet you!

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to adults with a wide range of life experiences, including the LGBTQ+ community. I am body- and sex- positive, kink-aware, and poly-friendly, and my practice is grounded in intersectional and feminist theory.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, and a variety of mindfulness and mind-body techniques. I adapt the style of therapy to your individual needs to enhance coping skills and promote positive change.

Many of the clients I work with are seeking to understand and cope with:

  • Exploring sexuality and gender identity

  • Gender affirming transition, including psychological evaluations for trans and gender-non-conforming folks seeking Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) or gender affirming surgeries

  • Support for partners of trans and GNC individuals who are transitioning

  • Fertility, pregnancy, and post-partum

  • Bipolar disorder

  • Bereavement

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Major life transitions

  • Healthy relationships and boundaries

  • Anger

I have a master's degree in social work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.

Let’s talk about what therapy will look like for you.
